Chartered in 1948, Dexter Credit Union has maintained a long-standing tradition of personalized service that our members have enjoyed for over 60 years. Our credit union operates two full service offices in Central Falls and North Scituate, RI serving over 12,000 members. We offer a wide variety of savings and checking programs including IRAs, Money Market and Certificate of Deposit accounts, as well as a wide range of real estate mortgage loans, consumer loans and member business loans. We are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), U.S. Government Agency. Currently, we are looking to add a seasoned Mortgage Loan Originator to join our growing team!

 

As a Mortgage Originator, you will be responsible for originating residential real estate loans, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with realtors, builders, attorneys and other key individuals associated with the mortgage industry. To be successful, you must be a highly energetic and self-motivated professional with a proven ability of exceeding goals. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with two years of mortgage sales experience or a minimum of five years mortgage sales experience; the ability to solve problems; excellent verbal and written communication skills; as well as a thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of originating, underwriting, processing, and closing of real estate loans.
