HR Resources
HR Network
The Association's HR Network is composed of credit union professionals located in each of our three states -- Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island -- who are responsible for HR functions in their organization. These HR professionals range in background from specialists in training or benefits to Vice Presidents of Human Resources to COOs and CEOs who handle the human resource function within their organization.
Membership in the HR Network provides networking opportunities to members through a professional HR listserv. Since the inception of the HR listserv several years ago, it has been widely used amongst HR Network participants for tactical as well as strategic questions and answers.
Throughout the course of a year, the HR Network will sponsor educational events on human resource topics that feature guest speakers who are experts in their fields. These educational events are typically limited to HR Network members but may occasionally be open to a broader audience as a Network-sponsored event. Through networking and education, the HR Network will identify trends in the industry as well as promote "best practices" for HR professionals.
Each and every individual member in the HR Network enriches the entire organization and hopefully is enriched in return. If you are responsible for the HR function in your credit union, we invite you to join us. Please contact Beverly Purtell, vice president, human resource management at bpurtell@cucenter.org or call 1-800-842-1242.
